United States Football League - Revisited

...where football is still a game!

1984 - Work in Progress

May 10, 2015 - After a Gunslinger-induced hiatus, I have started picking up where I left off over a year ago.  Despite checking several references, I hit a roadblock while researching the San Antonio Gunslingers' transactions that I could not figure out. Am hoping to find some new references to help clear up the confusion.

The 1984 schedule page is now completed and the basic information for all the box scores for the entire regular season and post-season are also posted.  One item that was not completed for 1984 was the links to historical newspaper articles found online.  With Google newspaper archive search no longer able to use publication dates within the search criteria appropriately, I was struggling to find the historical news articles for each game.  However, yesterday I was able to determine a way to search without dates and find the specific articles of interest.  As such, I have begun adding the online article links to each box score.  I have only completed links for Week 1 as of today.  It should be noted that I am reviewing each article in an attempt to prevent duplication between links.  Thus each article link should provide some unique information not available at the other links from each game.
